Features

Everything the team needs.
Everything the business needs.

Most workplaces run a chat app, a rostering tool, a timesheet system and a payroll export that never quite agree with each other. WorkAndGo is one app where the roster, the clock and the pay calculation are the same data.

For everyone

What your team opens each morning. No admin features, no dashboards about them.

Chat that keeps up

Channels, direct messages and threads with search across everything, file sharing, pinning, reactions and a shared canvas per channel. Scheduled messages for when you are working ahead of someone else.

Calls and video

Audio, video and screen sharing without a separate meeting app. Blurred or branded backgrounds, recording with live transcription, and an AI summary when the call ends.

Tasks

Turn any message into a task. Dependencies, accept and decline, and a clear view of what you have given other people as well as what you owe.

Calendar and meetings

Month, week and day views, two-way Google Calendar sync and guest links so people outside the business can join without an account.

Clock on, clock off

Start and end work, take breaks, request leave and see your own roster. Your attendance record is always yours to see.

Five daily games

Word Guess, Number Puzzle, Trivia, Connections and Word Search, with a team leaderboard. Small thing, and the most used feature on quiet afternoons.

For whoever runs the place

The employer side. Separate from the team app by design, and visible on the web dashboard only.

Fair Work award interpretation

Price a shift against the Retail (MA000004) and Hospitality (MA000009) awards and get a line-by-line explanation of every penalty, loading and overtime tier. Not an estimate you have to take on trust.

Rosters

Build a week at a time, assign several people to one shift, repeat it weekly. Rostered-but-not-clocked-on raises a flag rather than being discovered at payroll.

Analytics that reconcile

Hours worked come from actual clock records, not from activity guesswork, so the number on the dashboard is the number you would pay.

Monitoring, if you need it

Screenshots and app usage for the businesses that require it, off by default, per-person, and disclosed to the employee before anything is captured. Shift-mode devices capture only between clock-on and clock-off.

Jeeves

Ask a question in plain English, summarise a channel you have been away from, draft meeting notes, or run a command by voice.

Payroll export

Send approved timesheets to Xero or MYOB and sync leave back, so the hours are not retyped.

The part most tools get wrong

A roster lives in one system, the clock lives in another, and the award interpretation happens in a spreadsheet on somebody's desktop. Every handover between those three is a chance for the hours to change, and the person who finds the discrepancy is usually the employee, weeks later.

Because the roster, the attendance record and the pay calculation are the same data here, the question "why is this shift worth that much" has an answer you can read, segment by segment, without reconstructing it.

Clocking on and viewing your own attendance record are free on every plan and are never gated behind a subscription. If a business stops paying, its people can still reach the record their pay is calculated from.

Common questions

Does WorkAndGo replace Slack or Teams?

For most teams, yes. Channels, direct messages, threads, search, files, calls and screen sharing are all here. The difference is that rosters, timesheets and award interpretation are in the same app rather than bolted on.

Can employees see the monitoring dashboards?

No. Admin pages are not reachable from the employee app at all, and monitoring is off by default. Where a business does turn it on, the employee is shown a disclosure before anything is captured.

Which awards are supported?

The General Retail Industry Award (MA000004) and the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (MA000009) ship with the interpreter. It walks a shift in fifteen-minute segments and explains every penalty, loading and overtime tier it applies.

Is there a desktop app?

Yes, for macOS and Windows. The web app works in any modern browser, and mobile apps are in development.

Where is our data stored?

In Sydney. Databases, file storage and the AI that powers Jeeves all run in australia-southeast1, and data is not transferred to another region.
