Changelog

What we shipped.

Grouped by month. Fixes are constant and mostly uninteresting, so this lists the things that change what you can do.

August 2026

Calls, branded backgrounds and rosters that cost themselves

  • Branded call backgrounds. Upload your logo and it is rendered as a real object on the wall behind you, with depth, material and shading, across five corporate rooms.
  • Calls gained an expand view for shared screens, the ability to add people mid-call, a settings panel you can reach, and proper background segmentation.
  • Businesses with several trading names can hold a logo for each, and the choice follows the person.
  • Roster costing before you publish, plus a reconciliation queue showing rostered against actual against approved.
  • Chat history now loads continuously all the way back, and clicking a notification opens the message it refers to.
  • A channel can be made private after the fact, and the person who created a channel can delete it.
  • Games keep their board when you navigate away, and scoring moved to the server.
  • Unread count on the dock and taskbar icon. Desktop 0.1.31.
July 2026

Guests, webhooks and a much better chat

  • External guest access, scoped to a single channel and denied everywhere else by default. Guests are never monitored.
  • Incoming webhooks, so another system can post into a channel as a card.
  • Scheduled messages now deliver, and /remind sends you a direct message at the time you asked for.
  • Message drafts that survive navigation, slash-command autocomplete, a quick-react bar, multiple attachments per message, and a self-DM for notes to yourself.
  • A self-completing Getting Started checklist, and game streaks on the leaderboard.
  • Every person-scoped figure now drills through to that person’s page.
June 2026

Projects, news and the softphone

  • Projects are private by default with named members, while managers keep oversight.
  • A live news feed drawn from real headlines, with the categories and countries chosen per organisation.
  • An in-app softphone for outbound and click-to-call, with call logging.
  • Desktop sign-in moved to the system browser with a deep-link hand-back, so you sign in where your passwords already live.

Common questions

How do I get the latest version?

The web app updates itself. The desktop app prompts you when a new version is available, and you can always reinstall from the download page.

Do you announce changes in the app?

Yes. Administrators see a What’s New panel after a release, and anything that changes a workflow is explained there.

Can we ask for a feature?

Yes, and a good number of the items above started as somebody’s message. Email us or raise it inside the app.

Do you have a public roadmap?

Not published. We would rather tell you honestly whether a specific thing is coming than maintain a list that slips.

How often do you release?

Continuously for the web app, and every few weeks for the desktop app.
